I have explored my internet dimension for The last 5 years

Posted by YalekW5435 - November 1st, 2023

While I have only 0x8000 total bytes or chars left to write this message I wanted to provide some reasons why I haven't been on this website that much.

I've been heavily contributing to an open source and free software project more or less a static library for windows users, known as SexyAppBase. This is a library that you may be familiar with for those who have studied the history of PopCap Games before their acquisition by electronic arts.

This is a C++ library that was originally released under a version that contained legacy code that needed to be heavily updated to meet C++20 standards, modern windows platform versions up to windows 11 22H2, and introducing dx9-11 and d3d9-11. It was originally under C++ 14 and d3d7 only in would only help you make C++ games with the PopCap format in windows XP which was sad and outdated.

I've also been doing other projects outside of Newgrounds such as radio community related interests and speaking out against the security flaws in the internet such as discord.

I know many of you users on the site use discord, but as many of you know I have deleted my discord along with several of my friends because of how stupid the new CEO has been due to the amount of insecurities he has provided on his own platform.

You literally are required by the TOS to submit to spyware and data collection to be sold to third-party advertisers otherwise you have to delete your account. I did this to protest the new CEOs policies he put inside his terms of service.

And ever since the covid-19 misinformation acts have been provided everywhere else too, I've completely abandoned YouTube only to comment on certain things, and have moved to revolt, element, telegram, and a video sharing platform known as lbry and odyssee.

The videos on my lbry explain as much as it can be in regards to the security flaws of the internet.

I even provide some useful information even though some of the programming information is not that useful since I'm not an expert at C++ yet, I also provide some other information in those videos too just how easy it is to bypass certain regulations put in place by your operating system such as Microsoft windows.

I've also made a Reddit article on my user profile to explain the downfall of the gaming industry and community by both blaming gamers and the company's alike by providing their faults, and giving them a taste of their own medicine.

After this announcement I will link these sites to my profile, and Link the Reddit article in the next announcement I make so this way every single user that looks at this announcement can read the actual cold and hard truth that I have observed with the gaming sense of things.

Since I've also made headway into SexyAppBase's recent development I'll also provide the link to that exact github repository to show everybody and let everybody come in and contribute along with me and the other person that's holding the repo in place.

For my music and this has been a requested feature ever since I came on this site, is provide an additional audio section, in the drop-down menus when you select the type of track you're going to upload.

Specifically in the format like this, take for example my sstv clip that I uploaded for this sites ARG:

Audio - voice.

Audio - general.

Instead of just using the following below that are already provided in the drop-down menus:

Music - loop

Music - ambient

Etc.

The audio labels need to be added to not get confused with sound recordings or you know digital signals like the sstv clip I uploaded for the site.

Because I was also going to be adding some digital simulations of signals that I have encountered on signal identification wiki as I am a huge member and proponent of identifying radio signals that usually most people can't tune to with a normal AM/FM radio.

Even specific modem standards that almost sound like dial-up kind of but not in that specific fashion.

As for my music I will still be producing that but not on a grand scale.

I was thinking about making another Christmas song called "Jolie". It's not going to follow Burl Ives Holly Jolly Christmas, but will be combining most of the aspects of my previous songs including future titles into this song in a nice big 5 minute song package, since November 1st is usually the day that 2 radio stations in my area play Christmas music until after December 25th. I've always followed this nuisance to make music early and form some motivation to do stuff outside of work on my days off.
